So you got sign up and joined your current company and began your journey towards financial freedom. However, as time progressed you found out that the marketing strategies taught to you by up-line are not as effective as you hoped them to be.
So now you maybe looking for a new approach towards marketing your business.
My Introduction to Network Marketing
My first experience with network marketing was in 2006 my college friend introduced me to his cousin who worked for a financial services company. This company was a company whose mission was to help people get out of debt and become financially independent.
MLM appeared to be a good move, the financial risk was low and the potential rewards were virtually unlimited. Plus my mentor seemed like a pretty average dude, if he could make 6 figures in just 3 years, than I could definitely do 6 figures in 1 year. Boy, was I delusional. The rewards may have been high, but I absolutely had no idea what I was going to have to do to make the business actually work.
When I joined the company, I honestly was inspired by my up-line because he had put in the time, didn’t make excuses, was truly making enough money to live life on his terms. So I did my best to do everything he told me to do:
I would pitch strangers in shopping malls to persuade them to join my opportunity, I would approach top dudes in other sales industries like real estate, stocks and mortgages (which was extremely intimidating), I spent hundreds of dollars on dead end leads, spent money on flying to the BIG company events that were supposed to be life changing, but each month went by with all the MLM training you could possibly imagine and still NOTHING really seemed to work.
After about 1 year of uninspiring results, I finally had to throw in the towel and give up on my dream of become a network marketing millionaire.
However, the dream of living as entrepreneur did not die. I still unconsciously looked for opportunities that had passive income streams attached to it.
So for a stretch of two and a half years, I tried many different types of entrepreneurial sales jobs or opportunities, I went door to door, business to business, worked in an advertising agency, I even tried to working for a multi level marketing company that sold an overpriced real estate education program.
Then One Day I discovered Internet Marketing
I came across a highly skilled marketer who was making a great living online by leveraging email lists of famous authors and speakers, who sold affiliate products in the personal development niche.
I learned so much from him; I learned how to quickly find profitable niches, network with players, get massive amount of traffic and sell affiliate products. These set of skilled I learned eventually helped me make a money online.
I later then created this blog, it was originally meant to help people find their purpose. That worked well, within 6 months I grew my email list to over 6,000 people, helped hundred of people find their purpose and went on to make thousands of dollars through email promotions, affiliate promotions and I even on to did my own product launch.
However, I still felt like I could serve in an even better way to help people. But, I wasn’t really sure how I was going to do that.
The Paradigm Shift! My Re Introduction to Network Marketing
Recently I was approached by a Network Marketer, immediately once he started speaking to me I had my guard up, because I had remembered what is was like to put in 1 year of blood sweat and tears, but not receive any results from my efforts.
In 2006 I had followed the marketing training of my up-line and I still had no leads flowing into my business. I moved on to a couple of other MLM opportunities, spent hundreds of dollars of training audio’s and cd’s and mentor ship none of which got me ANY results. So to me network marketing was not even an option.
However, about 3 month ago I was introduced to some new age thinkers who had a much different outlook to MLM.
Instead of building your networking marketing through haggling your family friends and neighbors, which was the 70’s 80’s and 90’s and even the 2000’s approach, the way that most old school up-lines still teaches today.
Why not develop your business the new Networking Marketing 2.0 way through the power of attraction marketing and completely leverage the power of the Internet.
Attraction Marketing allows you to:
Create a steady follow of qualified leads into your business. Build a strong relationship with your audience, so you can recruit with far less effort and not have to worry about applying high pressured sales techniques to close your prospect into the business. So you never have to worry about getting the cold hard rejection again, which makes most of us feel like a couple of inches tall.
The coolest part about this marketing process is that even if you are a novice to online marketing they have set up a copy and paste system that brings your leads into the a sales funnel that dramatically increase the chances of bring prospects into your business, the sales funnel is so powerful that even, if your potential prospects doesn’t join your primary MLM business opportunity you can still make money.
This idea resonated with me so much because I was already doing a form of that on my self-development blog; however it never dawned on me that this same principle could be apply to network marketing.
After learning to apply just one strategy learned from this new system, I was able to get over 50 leads of prospects within the very 1st day of marketing my MLM business online.
After that I was sold and decided it was time to re introduce myself to the Network Marketing business, once and for all.
